To simplify the task of video multiplexing, TI offers devices dedicated to this purpose. TI’s current two MUX offerings are shown here with more on the way. The LMH6574 shown on the top, allows you to select one of four inputs. And the LMH6572 is a triple 2:1 MUX. You can use the 6572 where you would like to select between two or more separate RGB sources. It is possible to expand the number of inputs, as will be shown later in the presentation. The LMH6574 finds use in applications where the selected output is one of four or more.
