When looking at a DAC datasheet, noise is typically specified in two different ways. The first is Output Noise Spectral Density, which is typically measured at 1kHz and 10kHz and will be specified in units of nV per square root Hz. The second is Output Voltage Noise, or 1/f noise, which is a voltage peak-to-peak noise measurement.
