The Ag97000 series from Silvertel is cost-optimized and fully featured IEEE802.3af single-in-line (SIL) PoE PD module solution. It is pin-for-pin compatible with previous generations of the Ag9700, Ag9600, and Ag9400 product series.

The modules are pre-configured as a Type 1, Class 0 device, requesting 15.4 W of power from the PSE, with nominal output voltages of 5 V, 12 V, or 24 V.

They feature optional class programming to request Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 power levels by fitting an external resistor.

The DC/DC converter can achieve efficiencies up to 89% and operates over a wide input voltage range with a low ripple and low noise output with built-in output overload, output short-circuit and over-temperature protection, and a 1,500 V_DC (input to output) isolation barrier.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Ag97000 is a single-sided product and is over 40% lighter in weight than previous SIL modules for reduced shipping costs.
