The series is automotive grade and can be built with 2- or 4-leads. The function of this capacitor is AC filtering in harsh environmental conditions and PCB applications. These capacitors reduce the harmonic components overlapped to the fundamental frequency. The C4AF series grant a high ratio Irms/capacitance if compared to an aluminum can. Applications supported typically fall in the alternative energy, industrial, and automotive market segments.
