Low Jitter Oscillators

CTS Corporation announces the release of the model 635, 637, and 653 oscillators to support applications that require low jitter performance. These new clocks are available in LVPECL or LVDS formats with complimentary differential outputs exhibiting low phase jitter at <0.5ps (M637) and <0.7 ps (M635 and M653) integrated over the 12 kHz to 20 MHz bandwidth in frequency ranges up to 320 MHz. Additional attributes include 7.0 mm x 5.0 mm (M637 and M635) and 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm (M653) package sizes, 2.5 V or 3.3 V supply voltages, and fundamental/3rd overtone crystal designs.

Target applications for these new clocks are synchronous Ethernet, WLAN/WiMax, xDSL, SerDes, storage area, fiber channel, SONET, optical data transmission, telecom, and test and measurement.
