CMX90B702 Low-Current, Low Noise Gain Block

CML Micro's CMX90B702 is a low-current 50 Ω gain block that is perfect for a wide range of wireless applications from 23 GHz to 29.5 GHz. This highly integrated gain block is designed to reduce external components and board space requirements. Its RF ports are matched on-chip to 50 Ω with the help of an output DC-blocking capacitor. Additionally, an active bias circuit maintains exceptional performance even in varying temperatures and with a supply voltage of 3 V to 5 V. It features a convenient enable circuit for swift activation and a dual-bias mode that allows users to select a bias of either 10 mA or 15 mA, tailoring it to specific needs.

The CMX90B702 is fabricated using GaAs pHEMT technology, ensuring superior gain, linearity, and noise characteristics while keeping DC power consumption at a minimum. For applications covering 17 GHz to 23 GHz the CMX90B701 is also available as an alternative variant with a compatible footprint.
